About me

I am a motivated and skilled engineer with a diverse background in industrial production, data analysis, and systems engineering. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Production Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, followed by three and a half years of experience in various manufacturing roles, including Production Planning Executive, Master Production Scheduler, and Production Manager.

Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a concentration in Data and Systems. My research focuses on urban rail transportation networks, specifically exploring the impact of their interconnectedness on functionality and connectivity under various hazards and compound events. My skillset extends beyond traditional engineering, encompassing data analysis, machine learning, process improvement methodologies like Lean systems and sustainability, and web development using HTML, CSS, JS and XML. I am comfortable working with data-intensive projects and am eager to leverage my diverse skillset to contribute to innovative and impactful solutions.

Probability and Engineering Economy for Civil Engineering

CIVE 3464 – Probability and Engineering Economy for Civil Engineering was a course designed to meld key concepts in engineering probability, statistics, and economic analysis for project evaluation. It emphasized the practical application of these areas in civil engineering through case studies that illustrated their integration in design and system analysis. The course covered a range of topics in engineering probability and statistics, such as descriptive statistics, random variables, hypothesis testing, statistical process control, and sampling methods. Additionally, it addressed reliability methods for analyzing and improving system or design performance. The economic aspect of the course focused on the time value of money and the economic evaluation of project alternatives, incorporating considerations of depreciation and taxes.
